Tiny bright pink flowers on tall stately stems appear in summer.
This hardy vigorous perennial begins spring growth by slowly unfurling its deep wine red leaves on red stalks. As the summer progresses the leaves turn a dark green. Tall strong flower spikes appear in summer covered in clusters of tiny bright pink flowers.
