A bulbous perennial flowering in late spring. Unfortunately this species is in decline due to over grazing and development in its natural habitat. It requires a sheltered very well drained sunny position or in a container, ensure the bulb remains frost free. Pendulous drooping tubular flowers are clustered around strong stems and vary in colour from deep pink to rosy red.
