Fritillaria carica

From mountainous regions of South West Turkey and several Greek Islands comes this very distinguished bulbous perennial. Flared lantern shaped bright yellow flowers with hints of lime green. Happy in most free draining sunny sheltered sites, or better still in a terracotta pan in an alpine or gold greenhouse.
